Assoċjazzjoni Sport Muturi u Karozzi will continue with the Enduro National Championship Wotomoto 2018/2019 on Sunday the 17th of February 2019.

This third event will be hosted at the Barriera tal-Ballut of Naxxar and starts at 10.00am. Riders with non-ASMK membership can participate as well.

Currently, Bernard Sammut on a 300cc Beta is leading the classification with 40 points and is followed by Ian Scicluna on a KTM and by Matthew Gauci on a Beta with 30 points each. Carmelo Borg is holding the third place with his Honda with 17 points.

Meanwhile, on Sunday 10th February 2019, ASMK organized the 5th National Championship race by ASMK Pasta Poiatti 2018/2019 with 19 participants divided into three classes, Autocross Modified, Standard Class and the new Autocross Diesel Class for diesel powered cars.

During the day, Melo Zammit on his Opel Corsa won 2 of the 3 heats and scored highest points on the day. With Zammit for the Final Class A. Karl Micallef, Terence Azzopardi and Jean-Paul Grech all on Opel Corsa cars, Noel Zammit on a Fiat Punto and the Ford Fiesta of Theo Micallef also qualified.

In the Autocross Final for modified cars Class B the starting line was composed by Andrew Pisani on an Opel Nova, Nicolai Aquilina on Opel Corsa, Paul Formosa on his Fiat Uno and Brandon Lee Vassallo on a Peugeot 205. Duncan Delia joined them on a Ford Fiesta from the Autocross Diesel Class.

Pisani took helm at the start, followed close by Aquilina. During the first Heat Pisani took the Joker lap and held his position to the second lap when Aquilina made use of the Joker lap and managed to take the helm of the race. The race went on with Aquilina at the helm, followed by Pisani and Vassallo.

During the sixth lap there was a contact between Aquilina and Pisani which resulted in Aquilina over-turning. The Referee had to stop the race with a red flag as a precaution. The result of this issue and the race result will be published following examination of the case by the Disciplinary Board.

In the Autocross Class Standard, the start line was made up of Johann Vella starting on an Opel Nova, Kyle Agius on an Opel Corsa, Jerome Peplow on a Kia Avella, Alex Fenech on Peugeot 106 and the Ford Fiesta of Liam Formosa.

Vella took the helm followed by Fenech and Peplow. There was no change in positions until the last lap just before the finish flag when Fenech made use of the Joker lap and crossed the Finish before Vella.

This was the 1st win for Fenech while Vella and Peplow followed in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Fourth place went to new-comer Formosa.

On the same day, ASMK also held the fourth event of the National Trials Championship 2018/2019. Damon Bonello on his TRS motor registered his fourth victory of this season followed by Rowen Bonello and Ian Scicluna both on Beta motorcycles. Fourth place went to Antonio Leonardi on his Gas Gas while Tony Curmi placed fifth.

In the Trials Juniors Class, we saw Isaac Scicluna on a Gas Gas Trials at the top of the podium, followed by Julian Scicluna on an OSET electric motorbike. Karl Bartolo on a Beta followed while fourth went to Dion Micallef on a Beta motorcycle.
